After 7 years and a great deal of work from supporters, investors, lawyers and a topographer I am delighted to announce that we now have the titles in our name. This has been a complicated and expensive process, many thanks to all those involved. In the process of solving this puzzle, we have acquired far more land than we realised. This is very exciting time for The Hive. This means that in the spring we will be able to open the doors to potential buyers of articles of land. The details of this will be clearly laid out over the next 3 months in monthly updates.
In the meantime I will be taking my annual winter break in Scotland to spend time with family, liase with investors, and continue to spread the good word of The Hive. Winter is a great time to reflect upon all that has happened over the past year, and to further enhance plans for what happens next.
Therefore, we are hoping to find a person or persons to take care of The Hive for 3 months as from next week! Ideally, you will be able to be here for the whole 3 months in order to provide the project, land and cats with the consistency they require, be someone who has been here before and has a good understanding of how things work, be self motivated and reasonably hardy - winter on a mountain ridge is not always easy. Some Portugese would be of benefit.
Keeping the fires burning over winter at The Hive does not require much work, but there is always plenty to be done should you desire!
