Leaving PAN with gifts

We gave a presentation about our project in front of the whole community. They really liked our ideas and approach and it was very close to their own vision. They also believed that they have a lot of experience and wisdom to share with other communities to be able to exist sufficiently as a community in a gift-economy. They already practice gift-economy internally of course and they are looking forward to exchange more with other communities. When we asked if they might have any gifts to offer for the places we are going to visit, they came up with a huge pile of things in the next hour. It was so big, that we could only fit a quarter of it in the bus.. Among many clothes, mainly for children, there where also cuddle animals that the children wanted to give away personally to other children to make them happy. We also got a nice bike and a box of supplies, all self-made. There was bread, pesto, eggplant paste, spelt rice, spring water, and some nice small souvenirs like a handmade clay cup and a little cuddle PAN.
